1.Vocabulary (1) more than (less than) more than 可放在数词之前，表示“超过；不止；以上” ，相当于over。 The snake is more than two metres long. 这条蛇有两米多长。 more than 可放在名词之前，表示“不只是；不仅仅”。more than 可用于形容词或副词前，表示“非常；十分”，与 very 同义。more than 之后接带有 can 的从句时，常表示“否定意义”。less than 表示“不；很少；不到”. (2) Something a. some + n. 某个…… b. 量词 + thing ……事情 (3) Let’s number: 1,000,000,000 Hundred thousand million billion 1. 当前面有数词以及many，several等词修饰时，用单数形式，后面直接跟复数名词。2. 当这词前面没有数词而后面有of 时，则一定要用复数形式，表示“数千”，笼统的数目概念。 (4) Let’s play: read quickly. 2.
